Popular comic actor Jay Mohr stars in this comedy series about a middle-class dad trying to navigate new waters with his kids, his ex-wife and his newfound romantic life. GARY BROOKS is an easygoing 39-year-old man trying to keep those close to him happy: his bitter ex-wife ALLISON who left him for their marriage therapist DR. KRANDALL; his two kids, TOM struggling to attract the opposite sex despite being painfully shy and LOUISE confident with strong opinions; and Gary's new girlfriend VANESSA who doesn't know a thing about the ex-wife and kids just yet.
